EL CHAMUYO es un grupo de rock con muchas variaciones en su
estilo musical, abarcando desde la salsa al hard rock, pasando por
la rumba con acento flamenco, reggae, candombe, ska, rock and
roll, blues, pop y otros ritmos.
La idea de El Chamuyo comenzó en el año 2005, pero el grupo, con
su formación actual, lleva recorriendo escenarios desde mediados
de 2007. Los conciertos, plagados de adrenalina, pasión y fiesta,
caracterizan una personalidad muy particular del grupo, que induce
a la gente a participar directamente en el show, creando un clima
íntimo y alegre.
Actualmente EL CHAMUYO finaliza su tour 2013 y despide así el
ciclo “La Casa de la Abuela”, que lo ha llevado por escenarios como
el del Viña Rock 2013, paseando por toda la geografía española y
que culminará en julio del mismo año en su casa. Todo ello compaginado
con la grabación de su próximo trabajo, del cual veremos
un adelanto en formato single digital en diciembre de 2013 y en
formato CD en febrero de 2014, con colaboraciones estelares como
la de Uri Gine, voz de Bongo Botrako.

El Chamuyo est un groupe de rock métisse avec de nombreuses
variations dans les rangs des styles de musique de hard rock à la salsa à
la rumba, le reggae, le Candombe, ska,
rock and roll, blues, pop et autres rythmes. Grâce à ses musiciens de
formation clairement multiculturelles de l´Argentine, le Pérou,
l´Uruguay et l´Espagne. L´idée du El Chamuyo a commencé en 2005 et le
groupe dans sa composition actuelle a été en tournée depuis la mi-2007
Concerts complets de l´adrénaline, la passion et la célébration
caractérisent une personnalité très particulière du groupe, qui
encourage le public de participer directement et la création d´un cadre
intime et joyeux dans leurs présentations. Avec une longue trajectoire
professionnelle à ses dos, fidèles à "fais-le-toi tu même" ils ont
réussi à tirer en avant un premier disque autoédité en CD, bien que,
déjà antérieurement, ils eussent publié quelque de ses compositions pour
les distribuer gratuitement en ligne. Le processus d´enregistrement je
dure plus de six mois et ils a compté sur de la collaboration de anciens
membres. Les intégrants du El Chamuyo ont manifesté son intention dont
le disque "reprenait toute l´histoire de la bande, depuis sa naissance. À
ce concept se réfère précisément la chanson-titre, il était dans une
petite pièce dans la maison de la grand-mère d´un de ses composants, où
le groupe répétait dans ses premières années. L´enregistrement a eu lieu
dans l´étude de Borriol WZ, tandis que pour le mastering, le groupe a
choisi l´Octopus cabinet de l’Uruguay (Daniel Baez). « Nous voulions
qu´achevé du disque fût capable de transmettre l´importance que nous
donnons sur les rythmes distincts dans lesquels nous nous appuyons,
plusieurs d´eux d´une origine sud-américaine comme certains des
composants du groupe ». El Chamuyo est caractérisé pour conjuguer une
grande variété de rythmes avec le rock and roll dans lequel toujours la
lettre se fait remarquer. Avec un dessin soigné et quelques chansons
très élaborées, El Chamuyo se prépare à affronter une nouvelle étape
musicale dans laquelle ils préparent déjà un nouveau travail et espèrent
emporter tant de satisfactions comme celles qui ont fait la récolte

With a long professional path on his backs, and according to the maxim of "DIY"
they have managed to extract forward the first disc autoedited in CD,
though, already previously, they had published several compositions to
distribute them on-line. The recording took more than six months and
counted with the collaboration of former components.
The members of
EL CHAMUYO have demonstrated their intention that the disc "should
gather the whole history of the band, from the beginning”.
This was
the idea that gave title to their first disc, because it was in a small
room of " The House of the Grandmother " of one of the components,
where they began the earliest rehearsal . The recording was realized in
the study Borriol´s WZ, whereas for the mastering, there was chosen the
company “Octopus” of Uruguay (Daniel Báez).
"We wanted that the
post-production of the disc was able to convey the importance that we
give to the differents rhythms at which we support, many from South
America, as some of the components of the group.
EL CHAMUYO is characterized by combining a variety of rhythms with the rock and roll in their lyrics that always stands out.
With carefully designed and a very elaborate songs, EL CHAMUYO prepares
to face a new stage musical in which they are already preparing a new
work and expecting to get much satisfaction as they have achieved to
this day.
